Morning Supervision & Start Time
- Yard supervision begins at 8:50 a.m.
- School officially starts at 9:10 a.m.
Break Times
Infant Classes
- Morning Break: 10.35- 10.50a.m.
- Lunch Break: 12:15 – 12:40 p.m.
Senior Classes:
- Morning Break: 11:00 – 11:15 a.m.
- Lunch Break: 12:50 – 1:15 p.m.
End of the School Day
- Junior & Senior Infants: 1:50 p.m.
- All other classes: 2:50 p.m.
Travel to and from School
At St. Joseph’s NS, we encourage pupils to walk, cycle, or use sustainable transport where possible.
Pupils are expected to behave responsibly on their way to and from school.
Road safety, the role of traffic wardens, and responsible citizenship are regularly reinforced as part of school learning.
The school does not accept responsibility for pupils before 8:50 a.m.
Punctuality is important – all pupils should arrive on time for the school day.
