Digital School of Distinction Award

We are delighted to inform you that we have received the prestigious Digital School of Distinction Award, which is a Department of Education and Skills flagship award programme which promotes, recognises and encourages best practice use of technology in primary schools. This award recognises the investment of time, effort and money in the development of a digital culture of in our school and the development of both pupil’s and teachers’ digital literacy. The use of technology as a tool is evident in every subject and classroom and is in line with our aim that every child should be enabled to use technology to enhance their learning and equip them to become lifelong learners. We will hold an award ceremony at a later date as we have also been chosen to host a Digital School of Distinction Award ceremony with Gerard McHugh, Director of Digital Schools of Distinction, Managing Director of Hewlett Packard, Ireland Martin Murphy and Ciaran Cannon, T.D.
